Yet they are what I love most as they are forever
Though the cynical you may argue eternity is impossible
You still promise me wholeheartedly “forever”

Seven days and seven nights of a week together
Spending one second apart from you makes my heart a-flutter
You can’t help but smile at my childish behaviour
I don’t mind for I love your laughter

If only now I could start over
This regret that I for a moment not hold you dear
Haunts me day night whenever
The conclusion is only you I revere

Why did I not cherish the time we had instead
Why did I take it for granted
But it is too late for sorrys
It is too late to turn back
It is too late for you have gone

My efforts of getting closer were for naught
Dashed easily by your single swift action
No time for a salacious goodbye
You have left my heart here to die

Now this circle has come to an end
Till the end of time this story will stand
